You’ve experienced the life-changing opportunities a Juniata education offers. Why not share them with a prospective student? Consider your neighbors, friends, family, children of co-workers, members of your religious community, civic groups and others. By submitting a Juniata Community Scholarship referral (formerly the Alumni Gold Card Scholarship and Parents Pride Scholarship), the student will receive Juniata admission materials and communications, if they have not already.
But, it doesn’t have to end with the referral. You can offer your student support throughout the search process by recommending they visit Juniata's lovely campus, and encouraging them to apply to Juniata. By helping the College, you also make Juniata more affordable for the student. If they are admitted and attend Juniata, the student will receive a $1,000 scholarship annually as an undergrad in your name - with no financial commitment necessary from you.
The deadline to recommend high school seniors (currently for Fall 2025) is Nov. 15th of their senior year. You may refer high school juniors and sophomores throughout the year.Transfer student referrals will be determined on a case-by-case basis, depending upon where they are currently at in the application process. Most importantly, the earlier the student is referred for the scholarship (whether or not they have been in contact with Juniata), the better for the relationship to build. Please complete the form below, or contact Cindy Gibboney, Director of Admission Systems and Operations, at 814-641-3116 or gibbonci@juniata.edu if you do not have all of the required information.
